Key principles
- Tyoon is a marketplace and intermediary: we are not a party to the service agreement between a customer and a provider.
- Service quality, performance of agreed work, and disputes primarily concern the users; contractual liability for the job lies with the parties.
- The platform connects parties, enables communication, and may moderate content where reasonable — we do not guarantee every listing or user is verified. We do not process customer payment for the work.

1. Introduction
Welcome to Tyoon ("we", "our", "us"). Tyoon is a digital platform that connects clients ("Customers") and service providers ("Providers") for completing various tasks and small projects.
By using Tyoon, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Definitions
- Platform – the Tyoon website and related services.
- User – any individual or company registered on the platform (Customer or Provider).
- Customer – a person or company that posts a task or project.
- Provider – a person or company that offers services or completes tasks.
- Account – a registered user profile on Tyoon.
- Stripe – the third-party payment processor used for the provider’s platform fee to Tyoon.
3. Eligibility
To use Tyoon, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have legal capacity to enter into contracts.
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration (including name, email, and Y-tunnus).
- Comply with all applicable Finnish and EU laws.
4. User Accounts
- Users register with an email address or Google account.
- Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login information.
- Tyoon reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.
- Users may delete their account at any time.
5. Platform Role and Responsibility
- Tyoon acts solely as an intermediary connecting Customers and Providers.
- We do not employ Providers or guarantee task completion.
- We are not a party to any service agreement between Customers and Providers.
- Users are solely responsible for the accuracy of information they share.
- Tyoon may moderate content but is not obligated to verify every listing or user.
6. Payments and Fees
- The only payment through Tyoon is the provider’s platform fee to Tyoon. The customer pays Tyoon nothing. Settlement for the work is arranged between the parties outside Tyoon’s payment rails.
- Tyoon charges a service fee to the provider for using the platform (shown in advance).
- Providers are responsible for declaring their income and paying taxes according to Finnish law.
- Tyoon does not store full payment information (such as card numbers).
- The platform fee is currently 10% of the order amount agreed between the customer and the provider, and is shown transparently before the deal is accepted.
- The fee becomes payable by the provider when the work is completed—after the customer confirms completion based on the agreed terms. It is paid separately (e.g. via Stripe).
- We do not use escrow and do not hold customer funds for work payment. Stripe is used for the provider’s platform fee to Tyoon.
7. Prohibited Activities
Users agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or illegal information.
- Use the platform for fraudulent or harmful purposes.
- Circumvent the platform to avoid fees.
- Upload viruses, malware, or harmful content.
- Infringe intellectual property rights of others.
Violation of these rules may lead to account suspension or legal action.
8. Content Ownership
- Users retain ownership of the content they upload (texts, photos, documents).
- By uploading, you grant Tyoon a non-exclusive right to display and process this content as part of the service.
- Tyoon retains all rights to its trademarks, branding, and platform software.
9. Limitation of Liability
Tyoon is not responsible for:
- The quality or outcome of any task.
- Delays, damages, or disputes between Customers and Providers.
- Losses resulting from incorrect use of the platform.
- Tyoon does not warrant every provider’s skills or background; we may perform selective checks or moderation but do not fully vet all profiles.
- We are not liable for indirect or direct damages arising from services arranged via the platform (including delays or property damage), except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tyoon's liability is limited to the amount of service fees paid by the user in the previous 6 months.
10. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes between Customers and Providers should first be resolved directly between the parties.
- If necessary, Tyoon may mediate but is not obligated to.
- Finnish law applies to all disputes, and the competent court is located in Helsinki, Finland.
11. Termination
Tyoon reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform at any time if:
- The user violates these Terms,
- Provides false information, or
- Engages in unlawful activity.

The latest version will always be available on our website and will take effect immediately upon publication.
