Tyoon ("we", "our", "us") is a platform that connects clients and service providers to complete tasks efficiently and securely.

Consent when you register (GDPR)

When you create a Tyoon account (including via our authentication provider, e.g. Keycloak), you confirm that you understand and agree that:

  • Your data may be retained as described in the retention section and longer where law requires.
  • Your data may be shared with processors such as payment providers (e.g. Stripe) and, where permitted by law or your consent, analytics/marketing tools (e.g. Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel).

  • Account Information: Name, email address, and Y-tunnus (Business ID).
  • Authentication Data: Login credentials and data from Google authentication (if used).
  • Geolocation Data: Approximate location for task matching and service availability.
  • Payment Information: Provider platform-fee processing via Stripe; we do not store full credit card details. We do not process customer payment for the work.
  • Uploaded Files: Photos, documents, or other media shared through the platform.
  • Analytics Data: Usage statistics, device information, and cookies collected via Google Tag Manager (including Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) and similar tools.
  • Communication Data: Messages and interactions between users (clients and providers).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts.
  • Match clients with suitable service providers.
  • Process the provider’s platform fee via Stripe.
  • Provide customer support and dispute resolution.
  • Analyze and improve platform performance and user experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.

We process your data based on:

  • Contractual necessity (to provide the Tyoon service).
  • Legitimate interest (to improve our platform and ensure safety).

Your personal data is stored securely using trusted service providers, including:

  • Our own database servers for account and task data.
  • Stripe for processing the provider platform fee.
  • Google Tag Manager to manage analytics and marketing tags; Google Analytics and Meta Pixel for analytics and marketing.

We use encryption (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular backups to protect your data from unauthorized access or loss.

  • Service providers and clients, to facilitate tasks.
  • Stripe, for processing provider platform-fee transactions.
