Tyoon payments & platform fee

1. General information

Tyoon is a platform that helps customers and service providers find each other and agree on work to be performed.

The service contract is concluded directly between the customer and the provider. Tyoon does not currently process payment for the work from the customer to the provider. The only payment through Tyoon is the provider’s platform fee to Tyoon.

2. Platform fee

Tyoon charges a service fee to the provider for using the platform.

The fee is always shown in advance—before the provider accepts an offer or confirms the order:

• a fixed 10% of the order amount agreed between the customer and the provider

The commission amount in euros depends on the agreed order price. We may change the fee by updating the terms on this page.

The provider always sees the fee and the amount owed to the platform in advance—with no hidden charges. Tyoon does not pay the provider the price of the work.

3. When the fee is charged

The platform fee becomes payable when the order is completed:

• after the customer confirms that the work is done
• or otherwise according to the terms agreed for the order

The fee is calculated from the amount and terms agreed between the customer and the provider.

4. Who pays the fee

The platform fee is paid by the provider.

• The fee is calculated from the order amount agreed between the customer and the provider.
• The provider pays the fee separately to Tyoon (it is not deducted from a Tyoon payout—there is no such payout).
• The exact fee is shown to the provider in advance, before they accept the deal terms.

The customer pays Tyoon nothing—neither for the work nor a platform fee. Settlement for the work is arranged between the parties outside Tyoon’s payment rails.

The provider is solely responsible for declaring income and paying taxes in accordance with Finnish law.

5. Stripe and paying the fee

The provider’s platform fee may be paid via a licensed payment provider (Stripe).

Stripe is not used for customer payment for the work, and not for holding funds / escrow.

The platform does not store full bank card details. Stripe’s terms apply to fee payments.

6. Frequently asked questions

Does Tyoon accept payments?

Yes, but only the provider’s platform fee to Tyoon. Tyoon does not accept payment for the work from the customer.

Does the customer pay Tyoon or through Tyoon?

No. The customer pays Tyoon nothing.

Is there a commission?

Yes. Providers typically owe 10% of the agreed order amount after the order is completed. The fee is paid separately via Stripe.

Does Tyoon handle refunds or disputes about payment for the work?

Tyoon does not accept or refund payment for the work. We may help coordinate a dispute; the contract and work settlement remain between the parties.

7. Updates to these terms

We may update the fee and payment terms.

The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of the platform means you accept updates within the limits of applicable law.
